Food I recommend in Chicago in 2025
It’s Blogvent, day 10, where I blog daily in December!
I often get asked about food and things to do in Chicago! There’s sooo many stereotypical things to do and get, like the architectural boat tour and some deep dish pizza.
And honestly, you could do well with that. But I have so many more food recs for you. Here’s my favorite ones, as of now!
- Cedar Palace (Lebanese food, kinda hole-in-the-wall, but one of my faves in the city)
- Three Little Pigs (either the friend chicken sandwiches or the hot pot beef)
- Al’s Beef (a beef sandwich)
- La Chaparrita (literally any of their tacos)
- Tuk Tuk Thai (literally the best Thai food I’ve ever had)
- Kasama (anything from their bakery, anything)
- Doma (their breakfast sandwich!!!)
- Wildberry (literally any breakfast item is bomb)
- QuesaBirria Jalisco (these tacos will change your life)
- Cantón Regio (Mexican steakhouse, great for groups)
- Jibaritos y Más (everything is bomb, all of it, but their pork and their fish and their Puerto Rican rice is heaven)
- Topo Gigio (solid, classic Italian food)
- MCCB (everything is great but their soups changed me)
- Ken Kee (noodles)
- Boba
- Gathers Tea Bar (really good quality)
- Tsaocaa (boba and Korean fried chicken)
- Daboba (their boba pearls are SO good)
- TE’AMO Boba Bar (I particularly like their Yakult drinks)
There’s more, but start here. Let me know if you try any of these!
