Hey friends!

I hope your week was lovely! Mine was super busy at work (we released things!) and I ended it with spending some time with vaccinated family. Let’s boogie!

Something that interested me this week

This week at work, we announced that we acquired YC alum FeaturePeek and integrated their tech into Netlify’s Deploy Previews! I have been SO hyped to talk about it and it’s really exciting to have it out in the world for everyone to use (I’m particularly proud that we opted to make it free for all users).

Outside of this, I had a whirlwind of a time recording a handful of podcasts and prepping for Headless Commerce Summit this next week. Stop by if you’re free!

With Clerk, you can add beautiful, high-conversion Sign Up and Sign In forms to your React application in minutes. After signing in, Clerk empowers your users to take control of their account security with multi-factor authentication and device management.

If you’ve ever found yourself thinking, “there’s got to be a better way to build auth” - Clerk was built with you in mind. It truly only takes minutes to add best-in-class authentication experiences to your application, and Clerk’s team is constantly working behind-the-scenes to make them even better.

Interview question of the week

Last week, I had you figure out calendar availability! This was a tough one, but I’m glad some of y’all managed to get it over the line. This week’s question:
Make a 2-player Connect Four game, where the board is 7 units wide, and 6 units high. Your program should take in user input when a player puts in a piece, and have functions boardState() (which returns a 2D array of the current state of the board) and hasWon() which returns which player has won the game (if any).

I’m a total pro at stealing candy bars. How do I do it, you ask?
I got a few Twix up my sleeve.

That’s all for now, folks! Have a great week. Be safe, make good choices, and stop slouching!
